Lucie Anderson is a contemporary New Zealand artist based in Napier, creating Sculptural Textured Lightworks alongside her established Alcohol Ink Paintings. Her work explores light, texture and movement, shifting subtly with time and perspective. Each piece is an original, designed for curated interiors, bringing depth, presence and quiet transformation to space.

What are Textured Lightworks?
Textured Lightworks are sculptural works created through layered, repurposed and hand-formed materials designed to respond to light, shadow and space.
Each piece is completely unique, shaped by movement, texture and natural form, creating subtle shifts as light interacts with its surface throughout the day.
Designed for curated interiors to bring warmth, calm and presence into a space. Many collectors are drawn to their organic qualities, tactile nature and quiet sense of atmosphere. Each work can also be commissioned, allowing scale and form to be tailored to a specific interior or environment.

Lucie Anderson is a contemporary New Zealand artist based in Napier, creating Sculptural Textured Lightworks shaped by natural materials, layered surfaces and a commitment to sustainability.
Her work is grounded in respect for material and environment, often incorporating upcycled elements and crafted through a slow, intentional making process that honours what already exists.
These pieces are created to bring warmth, tactility and calm into a space. They respond to light throughout the day, revealing subtle shifts in texture, depth and atmosphere that invite a slower way of seeing and living.
Her earlier alcohol ink practice continues to inform her evolving body of work, which focuses on atmosphere, depth and organic form.
