"Layers in Time" An illuminated sculptural artwork by Lucie Anderson
Flowing lines, intricate layers and a warm, atmospheric glow give Layers in Time its distinctive presence.
Hand-cut layers of corrugated cardboard form an intricate landscape of curves and contours, revealing a remarkable interplay of depth, rhythm and shadow. The natural tones of the material are brought to life by the integrated LED lightbox, creating a soft, warm illumination that enriches every detail.
Description
With the light switched on, the work takes on a different character. Its layered structure becomes more pronounced, the shadows deepen, and the composition gains a quiet sense of movement. Even without illumination, the intricate surface holds the eye, revealing new details of the natural colours of the cardboard.
A sculptural exploration of material, light and time, Layers in Time brings an understated yet distinctive presence to a considered interior.
An original work by Lucie Anderson, created through a meticulous, entirely hand-built process.
